Covid and flood relief for remote Aboriginal Communities

As mentioned since January I have been coordinating covid and flood relief for remote Aboriginal communities.A completely botched vaccine supply by the governments has seen Covid spreading at a rapid rate throughout these isolated and at-risk communities. Add to that these communities have also been impacted by the floods. The most vulnerable are the elderly, disabled, women and children. The women and girls are further vulnerable as the carers of their communities. To protect their community, many families are self-isolating and may need to do so for the foreseeable future. They have been abandoned by the government and instead sent body bags. I want to do my part to help but I need your help. The organisations and communities I am supporting include:Cape York Community of Seisia -Queensland - A Small community of 260 people. The support is specifically for the community of Seisia and the surrounding homes. It’s part of the Northern Peninsula Area region that was created out of three Aboriginal Shires and two autonomous islands nearby.FIRST PEOPLES DISABILITY NETWORK AUSTRALIA (FPDN)Is a national human rights organisation of and for Australias First Nations Peoples with disability, their families and communities.Tangentyere Family Violence Prevention Program - NTThe Tangentyere Family Violence Prevention Program (TFVPP) is committed to working within the integrated response to Family Violence to prevent Family Violence in our Town Camps and in the wider Alice Springs community.Runs 6 community centres that 16 town camps share across each other and a safe house plus the 3 drop-in centres for town camp kids and their teenage older peers.NPY Womens Council  -SA, Vic and NTNPY Women’s Council is led by women’s law, authority and culture to deliver health, social and cultural services for all Anangu.Palm Island Community - QueenslandThe Palm Island is a community-controlled not-for-profit organisation that delivers human services, community capacity building and economic development programs on Palm Island. The majority of resources are used to target the needs of Palm’s population of children and families. What the communities are needing are:1. Monetary donation- This is whyI set up a little Gofund to raise funds. I have set a small target to start with and I am hoping for a donation offers to match that. I have also turn the fundraiser link into a QR code to make it easy and accessible. Shopping giftcards (big w, target, woolworths, coles, kmart etc)3. Mobile recharge vouchers, Fuel gift cards and pharmacy gift cards.4. Phones, chargers, sim cards,  internet dongles etcWhat I am needing to keeping making a difference is 👇🏾1. I am currently struggling with the admin supplies and postage cost of posting the much needed supplies I have being able to organise. This supplies include basic emergency items such as sleeping bags, clothing, sanitary products, toiletries, first aid kits, covid tests, medical supplies etc.  Support for admin can help me get administration supplies from office works. So officeworks giftcards will be helpful.2. Freight support to get supplies from Adelaide to Bega Valley in NSW,  Queensland and NT. This can be in the form of Australian post gift cards to help cover the cost of postage of supplies. See attached photos of the current boxes of supplies I need to post as soon as possible. In my conversations with everyone, even in a state of crisis they all said just send us what you have because we need everything so every little bit helps us.Any help will be greatly appreciated. Your support will make a massive difference to so many lives, bring dignity to the vulnerable, forgotten, and I dare say even save lives. If covid has taught us anything it is that we need to come together as a community to get through this pandemic.
